Guatemalan Food: Tamales

The indigenous origin of tamales gives us an idea of the great variety that you can find (even with different names) around the Americas. They can be sweet or salty and can be stuffed with meat, vegetables, chili, fruit, salsa and more. In Guatemala, for some reason, you can find them more easily on Saturdays.
