I remember reading for hours straight after school when I was a kid, and later in bed after dinner. Next day at school, I used my lunch break to run to the library and pick a new book. People bind with books in different ways and it’s without a doubt a deeply personal experience, but for me, every couple of pages open a new door from an unexplored perspective to help me understand the world around me.
The ‘Biblio Bus’ is a mobile library currently located at the ‘Cerrito del Carmen’, that seeks to create a safe environment for children to have access to reading material in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Guatemala City.
