Farmers Market at Paseo Cayalá: Lunch Box

Lunch Box

Guatemala’s economy does not provide the jobs or income to sustain a decent way of life for most of its population. And that’s why most employment in Guatemala’s economy comes from “informal” jobs market. And ones in a while, these entrepreneurs come out with great ideas like this one.

I stumbled upon this Lunch Box at the Farmers Market at Paseo Cayalá. I find this idea very practical and intelligent. They sell you these prepared lunch boxes, minimum buy is 6 to get it home delivered, you stick them in your refrigerator and they are ready to grab in the morning when ones sends the children to school.
They weren’t very pricey for Guatemalan standards, just Q25 each, and you can choose from ham and cheese to tuna subs.
