Guatemalan Food: Paches

Guatemalan Paches, not to be mistaken with Tamales.

They are basically made the same way, the only difference is that paches are made with potato dough instead of maize dough.
What still boggles my mind is why paches are sold only on Thursdays. Yes, if you end-up liking them paches, well, you can only find them on this day of the week.


Oh, I almost forgot: paches and tamales are often eaten with a side of what we Guatemalans called “French Bread”.
