The Rivers of Purulhá

Purulhá is a small municipality on the outed edge of the cloud forest of Baja Verapaz.

The constant humidity has prevented urban developments on the could forest and the rivers formed on this forest are some of the cleanest in Guatemala. The water is very cold and refreshing.

Oh, by the way, the name of the town translates to something like: snail or small fish in the water.
