National Artist Day

National Artist Day commemorated on October 27, the day has its origins in 1951 due to a plane crash in Petén, several artists, among whom were the musicians of the orchestra of Solomon Argueta, the pianist Mario Lara, Francisco Paco Pérez and several singers and broadcasters, as well as whole crew of the aircraft.

Meet these three talented Guatemalan artists: Margarita, Pamela and Ana. Her work is breathtaking, the theatre play provides a social analysis itself: the realities of Guatemalan women. Must say that we are fortunate in the Guatemala City. You can find all kinds of events, a talented musician playing the harp and the next day a photo exhibition open to the public in the middle of central park.

Art should be that way, reach everyone without exception… don’t you think?
