A flower for Petina by Hugo Muralles

Big cities, hostile as they are, offer even more chances for you to be more empathetic and kind.  It’s fine if you fail at first, after all, we all grow thinking our future is the one that matters right?, our school, our projects, our home, our car, our T.V. and so on.

The picture above got me thinking… when was the last time I gave somebody flowers, or the last time I kissed the hand of a lovely lady.

I hope you enjoy the song, beautiful lyrics:

Wild Flower

To see a world in a grain of sand and Heaven in a Wild Flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour. William Blake.

I Brought You Some Flowers

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

It may be a different scene in the middle of the city but in this area there’s a lot vehicular traffic all day long, I’m sure these flowers (some artificial) lose all the grace that they could have, mostly by the smoke.

The rain is here

Today we were happy in the Guatemala City, finally we have some rain and cold weather is now present for a few days, we hope so.

In Guatemala, the name of the flower is Chatia I found that in each country remains the diminutive but the name is different and has healing properties as far as I know. Do you know the name in other places or something else about this flower?
