A simple leisure day in Guatemala

Sunday, October 13th, 2013

A very interesting leisure day here in Guatemala.
Rode my bicycle to the province of Escuintla to checkout the crops on my farm.
Of course I forgot my personal pass (without it you have to pay) for the water park but I explained to the crew I had one and they were nice enough to let me in without asking much and I spent some time at the pool after working on my land.
It was rainy on my way back, I had to stop riding my bike and boarded a chicken bus.
It was raining so hard, at some point I could not see 4 feet infront of us, I’ve no idea how the bus driver managed to keep going.
Streets downtown Escuintla City were flooded!

Just another day here in Guatemala…..

Contemplating the rain

Contemplating the rain by Rudy Giron

Normally, Guatemala’s rainy season lasts for about six months which give Guatemalans plenty of opportunities to contemplate the rain. Often one falls on the contemplating state without even realizing it. As shown in the picture above, the woman gently takes the man out of his enchanted state, I can hear her saying, “honey, here’s the key, go get the car…”

What kind of story can you create for this couple?

If you have to maintain the garden in an optimal state, better think an effective system to supply water to plants, why not imitate the rain?

Seen in one of the universities of Guatemala City.

Si debes mantener el jardín en condiciones óptimas, mejor pensar en un sistema efectivo para regar las plantas ¿por qué no imitar a la lluvia?

The rain is here

Today we were happy in the Guatemala City, finally we have some rain and cold weather is now present for a few days, we hope so.

In Guatemala, the name of the flower is Chatia I found that in each country remains the diminutive but the name is different and has healing properties as far as I know. Do you know the name in other places or something else about this flower?
